BUILTIN studio is a Brooklyn-based, full-service design studio with an extensive background in residential, commercial, and retail projects. Our team of design experts brings a practical understanding of materiality, constructability, and an environmentally conscience design sensitivity to each project. Our partners go above and beyond to provide an onsite presence unlike any other design firm, overseeing every step of the job, no matter what scale. BuiltIn studio also combines conventional design approaches with a fabrication workshop, bridging the gap between concept and construction.

Founding partners, Gary Eisner and Terence Kinee graduated from Virginia Tech in 2004 with bachelor degrees in architecture. Both with construction and furniture making experience, they managed interior projects for Kondylis Design for almost four years prior to opening BuiltIN studio. At KD they were involved with some of the largest and most exciting developer projects in New York City, including Silver Towers with Silverstein Properties and The Residences at the Plaza, with Elad Properties.
